Since the beginning of the 21st century and the rapid development of the new media is the Vatican changing the style of communication in the context of authority offline and authority online. The lecture presents some observations based on research (textual analysis) on papal texts from the beginning of the century.
Dr. Jaroslav Franc is visiting via CEEPUS mobility program "Mediaethics". Jaroslav Franc is head of department of the Eepartment of Communication Studies at the "Sts. Cyril and Methodius Faculty of Theology", Palacký University of Olomouc, Czech Republic. He works on the dialogue between theology and culture, the ecumenical relations between coptic-orthodox and catholic church, and participates in the study program Ethics and Culture in Media Communication.
