The Faculty of Catholic Theology is one of the 15 faculties and five centers at the University of Vienna and ranks among the largest theological faculties in the German-speaking world. It sees itself as a center for research and study engaged in dialogue with other disciplines, society, and the Church.
At KTF, we offer degree programs in theology and religious studies from the bachelor’s to the master’s and doctoral levels that combine academic depth, methodological diversity, and international perspectives.
Research at the Faculty of Catholic Theology is characterized by social responsibility, ecumenical and interfaith dialogue, and strong ties to academia, society, and the Church.
