This year's dies facultatis, the celebration of the start of the winter term, was all about Christian-Jewish dialogue. In addition to the keynote speaker, the Viennese rabbi Jaron Engelmayer, the musicians Timna Brauer and Elias Meiri interpreted Jewish songs in the Great Ballroom of the University of Vienna. The evening was attended by numerous representatives from church and university institutions as well as the president of the coordinating committee for Christian-Jewish cooperation, Martin Jäggle. Among other things, the prizes for the best theses and dissertations of the past year were awarded.
