With great sadness we mourn the passing of Hannelore Niedermayer. 

Mag. Hannelore Niedermayer, born in 1956, studied - after a few years already in professional life - Catholic theology. Afterwards, she enrolled for a doctorate in Catholic theology. From September 2008 to July 2009 she worked as a maternity leave representative at the Institute for the New Testament, where she was involved in the organization of the international congress of the Society of New Testament Studies in the summer of the same year. Her interest in philosophical and theological questions was broad and interdisciplinary. A chronic lung disease put an end to your life and committed theological thinking on August 22nd, 2022 much too early. The faculty and everyone who knew her will keep her in their memory. R.I.P.
