Funding of dissertation project on liturgical music
Alexis Kutarna from Houston/Texas, doctoral candidate in the Department of Liturgical Studies and Sacraments Theology of the Faculty of Catholic Theology of the University of Vienna, receives one of the five scholarships provided by the Vatican Foundation Joseph Ratzinger-Benedikt XVI. in Rome for 2021/2022. The title of the award winner's ongoing dissertation project is: ‘Musification of the Word’ (Joseph Ratzinger): An Approach to the Primacy of the Logos in Liturgical Music With Regard to Divine Worship’.
